Flea Market Giveaway

This frame is amazing, right?! All that chipped plaster detail ... the wonky

original picture wire.... the gilding. I was doing the happy-dance all the way

home when I spied it at Junk Bonanza and quickly snatched it up!  Who cares

if I was at the mercy of a plane flight and all that that entails with people

jamming their belongings in the overhead bin.  I guarded it with my life,

shooting snarky anxious looks the minute someone else thought that bin was

theirs, also!

I attended Junk Bonanza http://www.junkbonanza.com, for the first time, last

year and I now know why it gets written up as one of the premier shows to

attend.  With 140 hand-picked vendors, Ki Nassauer has cultivated quite the

following.  And for die-hard flea market attendees... or even those who just

want to get their feet wet.... it is crazy good!!!  I was wise enough to purchase

an Early Bird ticket.  The benefits?  You get in two hours ahead of the crowds

which means more elbow room to poke around!  Wooohooo!!!

So, here's the news!  I'm sharing the love with one lucky winner of my

giveaway.  This is a ticket for the Early Bird entrance, on September 13th!

You.... yes, YOU!.... will get to experience this adventure firsthand!  And you

know I am all about experiences!

And, as you know, you need a good sturdy bag to put all your stash in.  I'm

here to help by ALSO giving away, with this ticket, a tote made by ME!

Leather handles.... vintage lace trims.... and fabric flowers with pearl centers!

Cute enough to get you in the spirit of the day!  The body of the bag is made of

sturdy canvas so no worries about overloading it.  I am so excited for the lucky

winner!

THE DETAILS ON HOW TO WIN
Four... count them..... 4 chances to win!!!

                          And thanks so much entering!!

  1. Hi Kadee, What a great giveaway! I attended the Junk Bonanza for the first time last year too, but not as an early bird, and let me tell you, the line was way down the parking lot! Lots of eye candy at this fest and would love to attend again this year (maybe as an Early Bird?). I'm curious as to where you're located? I was also a "student" of Jeanne's class which is how I started following you and I work in MN (not too far from Canterbury) and live in Western WI. Greetings!

  2. Hi Kadee!

Well, let me see... I have been to quite a few shows but never to Junk Bonnza - but would LOVE to go!!! Great giveaway that you are having. My most recent favorite show would probably be the Country Living Fair in Columbus, Ohio, and believe you me IF you don't go the first day AND early bird it is very picked over after that! Can't wait to see WHO will win? Fun, Fun!!! Colleen

    1. Do they have early bird tickets to Country Living Fair? Still trying to work out the details and see if it's feasible to go this year. As I mentioned before, September seems to have a lot of shows! One could be on the road (or in the air) all month!

  6. First off: WOW, this tote is pure "Shabby Goodness", I love the colors, the gorgeous flowers, lovely lace, the bits of pearls and leather. And it shows the love you put into it. It would be a "Little Treasure".
I came by way of Karen at My Desert Cottage, and am so thankful to know about the Advanced Ticket sales. I've booked 2 nights for 3 of us "IOWA" girls for a first time adventure for all of us. Not many "Great" flea markets close by but I enjoy the Britt Hobo Day flea market event. Have desires to see the Country Living Fair, and sometime attend Gold Rush days in Oronoco, Mn and Chippy Shabby in Cedarburg, Wi both this weekend.
I have become a happy follower, peeped about a bit and like your photos and fun posts. I will do the Facebook and have a spot on my blog by Friday Pm. Thanks so much for the fun.

    1. Did you say Iowa?? We lived in Clive for 9.5 years! That is where I learned the utter joy of going to the county auctions! What about the flea market at the fairgrounds in Des Moines? I remember going several times but you had to arrive bright and early. Anyway, small world and glad you dropped by my blog! Great ideas on other places to go crazy at! LOL
