A Thanksgiving Prayer.....

For beauty in nature, Your glory we see
For joy and health, friends and family
For daily provision, Your mercy and care
These are the blessings You graciously share.
So today we offer this response of praise
With a promise to follow You all of our days.
                                                                     ~Mary Fairchild

The gravel path that Annie and I take on our morning walk, was strewn with

these perfect little leaves.  One after another.  All variegated, oval leaves

perfectly edged in frost!  A glittered outline still visible until the sun kisses it

and melts all traces of perfection away. Nature displaying its best work ...

giving us a prelude to the holiday season!

I was thankful, that day, that God opened my eyes to see that His touch is

visible in every little detail.  Not to forget, I snapped these pictures.  I hope

you enjoyed them!

Wishing you a happy and blessed Thanksgiving!

  1. So beautifully said from the heart, Kadee! Hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving with friends and family!

Thanks for your sweet comments about my Thanksgiving tablescape. It was fun creating it - something I don't get the chance to do very often. :) Were you eyeing something in Shellagh's shop? :) She has some amazing linens, doesn't she? ♥ I've already got something else in mind I want her to make for me. lol

And yes.....I'm very blessed and spoiled with Rog doing the majority of the cooking and baking here. Not so good for the waistline, however. hehehe!

    Hugs to you, sweetie!

    1. This holiday is over and now it's time to get ready for Christmas! I will be keeping up with your blog to see what fun things you do to prepare! Always inspiring!

  2. Hello Kadee,
Oh you have been so busy creating & retreating! So love your flowers in the flower swap! I love to swap. There was a point last summer I was so into making fabric flowers. I wish you would just hop on over to Bloomington this weekend & come to the Open House...we would just love to have you!

    1. I know your show will be successful... after all, your work is amazing! We need to have a day of soldering together so I might get a few hints of how you do it!! Wouldn't that be fun!!
